Remote Monitoring
Diver-Link
Description
The Diver-Link is a durable and easy to install telemetry unit for remote monitoring of ground and surface water levels. The Diver-Link features a compact design with the latest 4G/LTE wireless technology and can be used in a variety of bore hole locations such as flush mount and stick-up wells.
The Diver-Link is part of a complete telemetry solution. A remote monitoring system that integrates field instrumentation with wireless communication and data management to effectively manage (ground)water resources. The Diver-Link is suitable for continuous long and short-term monitoring projects.
The Diver-Link transmits data from a single Diver datalogger, connected by a DXT Cable, over a cellular or mobile network. Up to 3 Divers can be connected to the Diver-Link Triple. Both versions of the Diver-Link are available with an internal or external antenna. An external antenna provides better signal strength and coverage, especially in areas with poor reception or in case the Diver-Link is placed inside a metal well casing.
Configuration and management of the Diver-Link is done through the Diver-HUB web portal, a web portal for real-time management of site data, monitoring equipment and water levels.
Deployment of the Diver-Link is simple; insert the battery and connect the unit to a Diver. In the field, the Diver-Link can be operated using the magnetic function keys to activate the unit. Future firmware updates are automatically executed ‘over-the-air’, so there is no need for additional site visits.

Diver-SDI
Description
The Diver-SDI integrates Divers with SDI-12 remote monitoring systems. A typical SDI-12 system illustrated in the figure below. On one end the Diver-SDI is connected to the SDI-12 system through the 3-wire SDI-12 bus, which also include the power supply of 12 Volt. On the other end a Diver cable (AS2xxx) is attached to connect the Diver-SDI to a Diver. Diver cables up to a length of 500 meters (1,640 ft) can be used with the Diver-SDI.
Features
-
The Diver-SDI has a built-in pressure and temperature sensor for measuring real-time air temperature and atmospheric pressure.
-
Automatic barometric compensation of the Diver pressure readings.
-
Dynamic density compensation for accurate water levels in saline conditions when used in combination with the CTD-Diver.
-
External power supply through SDI-12 system.
Benefits
-
No need for additional sensors to measure air temperature and atmospheric pressure.
-
No need for post-processing the pressure data.
-
Accurate water levels when water density varies due to salt content.
-
No internal battery is required. The compact Diver-SDI can be mounted inside the well casing for long-term, uninterrupted use.
Diver-MOD
Description
The Diver-MOD is the Modbus interface for Divers and is used to connect Divers to an RS485 network using the Modbus/RTU protocol. The Diver-MOD features a barometric sensor, which can be used to convert the Diver pressure in to a water level.
A typical Modbus configuration is illustrated in the figure below. In the schematic, two Diver-MODs are connected to a PC/PLC. This connection includes both data communication and power. The maximum Modbus cable length depends on the baud rate, the cable, the network configuration (2-wire or 4-wire), etc. A maximum length of 1000 meters can be achieved using the right components.
Features
-
The Diver-MOD has a built-in pressure and temperature sensor for measuring air temperature and atmospheric pressure readings.
-
Read Diver memory.
-
Program the Diver sample interval.
-
Start and stop Diver.
-
Power is supplied by the Modbus network.
Benefits
-
No need for additional sensors to measure air temperature and atmospheric pressure.
-
No need for post-processing the pressure data.
-
No internal battery is required.
